A recognised beauty expert across the media, Ruby’s opinion is constantly sought by beauty editors and brands. Ruby has written for and contribute to regular columns for magazines including Easy Living, ES, Marie Claire Health & Beauty and Spa Magazine, in addition to her many appearances as a beauty expert on television. With a huge amount of experience and expertise creating and using beauty products, Ruby is often called upon to judge Beauty Awards. She contributes annually as a beauty expert and judge to the Instyle Best Beauty Buys which has an iconic status in the beauty business. Ruby is also a member of the Coolbrands Expert Council, a hand-picked team of 37 style gurus, fashion leaders, instigators and innovators, alongside fashion and lifestyle experts, such as Julian McDonald, Kelly Hoppen, Quentin Jones, Laura Mvula, Gisele Scanlon and Angela Scanlon.

One of Ruby’s major achievements was to be awarded an MBE by the Queen in 2007. The title recognised Ruby’s long standing contribution to the cosmetics industry.
