Reconnecting with Fatima Olive has brought back some of my fondest memories within the beauty industry. With a heavy heart and lots of affection I pay my respect to one of my mentors ‘HORST RECHELBACHER’ the founder of AVEDA and INTELLIGENT NUTRIENTS.
During my time with Aveda I came across a lot of incredible talent from Sonia Kashuk and Pat McGrath to Antoinette Beenders, Ted Gibson, Eugene Suleman and Thomas McGuyver.
Whilst working with the hair team I discovered Tanjo sticks a Japanese Hair Styling Stick which was to become the inspiration for the Aveda Self Control Styling Stick and later my Ruby and Millie Cheek Sticks (at least for the packaging).
