Anyone who has worked with me (or who knows me!) will know that I am a stickler for hygiene. Clean brushes, make-up sponges and in fact, any tools that come in contact with my clients, be they celebrities or models, must be super-clean at all times. No exceptions. I’m not uptight, but I do believe that a make-up artist should be meticulous. I’ve tried lots of brush cleaners in my time, but I must say that I’m particularly taken with Japonesque’s Gentle Goat Milk Gentle Cleansing Balm Solid Brush Cleanser, £16.00, a luxurious cleanser which leaves my brushes clean and soft. Definitely worth the money if you want to keep your brushes ultra-clean and in peak condition.
