Sometimes I discover products that I just have to rave about – and Hand Chemistry Intense Youth Complex, £18.99, fits that category perfectly. I’ve been using it for seven days on the trot – you really have to give it 7 to 10 days to get the full benefits – and my hands are looking a whole lot better. As a make-up artist, I’m washing my hands all day long- or using hand sanitisers which do tend to strip skin of moisture – so I need a hand cream that delivers. Hand Chemistry is super-moisturising, but quickly absorbed, so it doesn’t feel greasy and it doesn’t leave marks on my door handles, or anything else for that matter! Now for the science bit. The magic ingredient is a mushroom – yes, a mushroom – Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp – which has been shown to be 400 times more moisturising than Hyaluronic Acid. They also have a Heel Hydration Complex which I’m trying out – and I’ll report back on that at a later date. Watch this space…
