HARRODS: THE ART OF DARKNESS:
GET THE LOOK

Less is more this season with ‘no make up make up’ remaining the staple daytime choice.

As with everything in life the better you prep, the better the end result. I love AVEDA TOURMALINE CHARGED EXFOLIANT to clean and scrub the skin in a gentle way. Use a circular motion to massage in to the skin before rinsing for revitalised skin, a must if you sit in a centrally heated office. For intense hydration then apply CHANEL HYDRA BEAUTY MICRO SERUM underneath CHARLOTTE TILBURY’S MAGIC CREAM. Apply the magic cream vigorously all over the face, neck and décolleté for plumper more radiant skin.

I always use a lip balm and my favourite in the winter months is SISLEY CONFORT EXTREME with an anhydrous formulation it’s moisturising and doesn’t run the risk of freezing on the lips (particularly handy when skiing). The final stage of prep is to always use a good primer on the key areas of the face – cheeks, chin, brow bone, nose and forehead.

For a flawless base I’ve used HOURGLASS VEIL FLUID matched to the models’ skin with a SHISEDO PERFECTING STICK to cover any blemishes. Blend together with a BEAUTY BLENDER and finish with RMS UNPOWDER for a gossamer finish.

There are no harsh brash colours everything used is to enhance the natural beauty without looking heavy. I’ve used BOBBI BROWN POT ROUGEon lips, cheeks, and a hint on the eyes along with RMS LIVING LUMINIZER on the inner eye, cupids bow, nose and top of cheeks to highlight where the sun would naturally catch providing a luminous glow.

To finish apply brown mascara to define the lashes – no eye liner, no contouring just simple natural looking beauty.
